Experience    

Patrick Walta is a qualified metallurgist, mineral economist and board executive with experience across both technical and commercial roles within the mining and water treatment industries.

Graduating from Melbourne University with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Science, Patrick has gone on to complete postgraduate studies including an MBA, Masters of Science (Mineral Economics) and a Diploma of Project Management. In addition, Patrick is a graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.

Patrick’s experience within the mining industry includes: public and private company management, mineral processing, M&A, IPOs, project management, feasibility studies, exploration activities, competitive intelligence and strategic business planning.

Patrick became Executive Director of the ASX listed Carbine Resources Limited in 2014 following the takeover of a subsidiary of the private mineral resources group Raging Bull Mining. His role at Carbine involves the development of all facets of the Mount Morgan Gold & Copper Project, as well as general management and continued business development of the Company.

Previously, Patrick was CEO of Cradle Resources Limited and was responsible for the completion of the Company's IPO and implementation of its successful mineral development strategy. This was achieved through activities including: exploration program coordination, broker and investor marketing, continuous ASX & ASIC compliance, capital raising initiatives and project due diligence. These activities culminated in the acquisition of the Panda Hill Niobium Project in 2013 and subsequent successful takeover of the company.

In addition, Patrick is also the Principal of Stoker Consulting, which provides general business and technical consulting services to the mining and water treatment sectors.
                
Patrick also has a broad level of resource industry experience through previous employment with companies including Rio Tinto, Citic Pacific Mining and Clean TeQ Mining.

Director : John Carr

Experience    

John Carr is a Chemical Engineer/Metallurgist with experience in technical, mine development and management roles in the mining industry.

Graduating from Melbourne University with honours in Chemical Engineering, John has also completed post graduate studies such as a Masters in Business Administration, Diploma of Project Management.

John’s experience within mining includes: technology development & commercialisation, company management, project management, economic evaluation, feasibility studies, exploration and resource development and strategic planning.

John has experience with development of: nickel/cobalt, gold, uranium, copper, scandium, rare earths and vanadium.

John is also the General Manager of Clean TeQ Metals, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX listed Clean TeQ Holdings Ltd (ASX:CLQ). As General Manager, John is responsible for the acquisition and development of assets utilising Clean TeQ's hydrometallugical technology.  John manages the Syerston Scandium Project through Scandium21 Pty Ltd (100% owned subsidiary of Clean TeQ Metals), including all aspects of metallurgy, engineering, exploration, mining, permitting and administration. John is also managing the development a process extracting rare metals from titanium dioxide process streams with a partner in Japan and developing a copper recovery process with Carbine Resources Ltd at the Mt. Morgan Gold Mine.

John also resource development and operations experience through previous employment with Rio Tinto.
